Rondout Savings Bank’s 150 Ways of Giving Continues to Make 2018 A Meaningful Year
May 18, 2018
To honor Rondout Savings Bank’s 150th year anniversary they continue their success with their Calendar of Giving program. Each month a different non-profit community organization is featured fostering community engagement and financial support. In each of the bank’s locations, donation drop-offs are featured in the lobbies keeping the spirit of philanthropy alive all year-long. The month of March featured the American Heart Association, an organization that helps people build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Rondout Savings Bank had collection boxes in each of their seven locations, collecting grocery gift cards for healthy food. “Rondout Savings Bank is proud to support the American Heart Association as part of our year-long 150 Ways of Giving program,” said Susie Dallies, Vice President, Director of Operations and Retail Banking. Ms. Dallies, whose daughter was born with a congenital heart defect is no stranger to this organization and has supported them in the past. She is just one of the bank’s many employees who volunteer their time and donate to those non-profit organizations that positively impact the community. In early April, the bank dropped off their collected items to Danielle Schuka, Regional Director, Dutchess & Ulster County for the American Heart Association—a total of $772 in gift cards that will help many people in need.
