Rondout Savings Bank’s Brittany Schatzel Selected to Join Prestigious BAI Emerging Leaders Network
September 1, 2018
Rondout Savings Bank’s Brittany Schatzel, Broadway Branch Manager, has been selected to join the BAI Emerging Leaders Network, a selective professional development network dedicated to fostering growth of future leaders who will drive positive change in the financial services industry.
Brittany is one of 100 Emerging Leaders chosen by BAI to join its Emerging Leaders Network, which recognizes up-and-coming financial services leaders from around the world with less than 10 years of experience in the industry. The network provides learning, mentoring, networking and recognition opportunities to aid in the development and career success of these standouts.
Brittany started her career in banking at Rondout Savings Bank in 2014 as a teller. She has since moved up through the ranks starting with a promotion to Customer Service Representative in March 2015, Head Teller in November 2015 and Assistant Branch Manager in May 2017. In July of 2018 Brittany begin her new position as Branch Manager of the Broadway office.
Emerging Leaders and their mentors attend BAI Beacon in October in Orlando, FL for a truly unique learning and networking experience. They also will participate in the year-round professional development community designed to provide relevant education, mentoring and networking opportunities; special recognition in a BAI Banking Strategies Special Report; complimentary 2019 BAI Membership and more.
“It is our responsibility as leaders to provide unique opportunities and the resources to develop up-and-coming talent in the financial services industry,” said Debbie Bianucci, President and CEO of BAI. “The BAI Emerging Leaders Network comprises of distinguished, diverse rising stars in the industry who demonstrate unparalleled leadership characteristics. I look forward to helping and watching them grow into the leaders of tomorrow.”
